Excellent video, this touched my heart to see that all of these students continue to achieve. I am greatful to have been apart of such a dedicated group of individuals that have the same goals. Education lacks what PS7 has and other schools throughout Sacramento should begin to implement the model so that they can begin to bridge the gap in education.
Keep up the good work St. Hope and PS7, Sac High, and PS7 Middle Schools staff and educators.

God Bless

Your Koinobori are beautiful - and so are you!

I'm happy to see in the photo that girls are making Koinobori, too. In Japan it used to be that this was for boys only, which doesn't seem at all fair, does it? I think that has changed now, because they used to call it Boys' Day but now they call it Children's Day. But I'm not sure if girls can fly Koinobori in Japan now - do you know? If you do, I'd like to know the answer.

I'd also like very much to buy two Koinobori when you are ready to sell them. It would make me very proud to know that you have made them, and that the money will go to help the Japanese people who lost so much during the earthquake and tsunami. If I can buy two of your Koinobori, I will hang them up on my wall, where everybody can see them, so I can tell them about you, and about how much you care about other people.

I hope I hear from you!
